Fatimah Alkaabi

Biography

Fatimah Alkaabi is a Biomedical Engineering PhD student who is interested in neural engineering and neuroimaging applications. She received her master’s degree from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor, and her bachelor’s degree from Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University- Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Her MS thesis focused on investigating hyperacusis behavioral and electrophysiological manifestations in an animal model of guinea pigs. Her research interest is to explore brain-gut interaction through MRI and electrophysiology.
